Software

Ésta es una lista de las aplicaciones que he usado. Con un poco de suerte tendré algo escrito sobre mis experiencias en la página correspondiente. De todos modos yo no me harí muchas ilusiones.

MacOS X

Viha MacOS X Wireless Tools

http://www.dopesquad.net/security/

Viha is a project developing a suite of wireless auditing tools for MacOS X. So far, the only components developed are a custom AirPor t driver for monitor mode packet capture, a framework for driver access and 802.11 packet deconstruction, and a command-line wireless net work stumbler. Because OS X before 10.2 (Jaguar) doesn't allow us to dynamically unload/load the Apple AirPort driver, we require OS X 10 .2 for now.

This is a binary-only release for now, because I haven't decided on a license yet. The binary is free for non-commercial use. But, the framework does include the header files, so you can use it to write your own 802.11 utilities (Seriously, my Stumbler is ~100 lines o f C++).

0.0.1a release is a bugfix to correct a memory leak in IEEE80211Frame (thanks to Michael Rossberg for reporting it, check out his awesome Aqua stumbler.

ViHaController

Provide's a real authentication system for the process of loading/unloading the drivers required to put your AirPort card in monitor mode. Provides an easy access preference pane/menu bar interface for controlling the viha driver. Also has an optional menu item to launch a network application of your choice, we suggest KisMAC . Necesitas MacOS X.2 (Jaguar).

KisMAC

http://www.binaervarianz.de/projekte/programmieren/kismac/

KisMAC is a stumbler application for MacOS X, that puts your card into the monitor mode. For that purpose we are using the viha driver. Unlike other applications we are completely invisible and send no probe requests. Feel free to download the second alpha version and tell us your opinion.

MacStumbler

http://www.macstumbler.com

MacStumbler is a small utility I wrote to emulate the functionality of projects like netstumbler, bsd-airtools, and kismet. It's meant purely for educational or auditing purposes, although many people enjoy using these types of programs to check out how many networks are in their area, usually known as war driving.a
